What are you doing right now?

Researching and researching to help me decide whether I might want to have children one day. I've never had such a hard time trying to reach internal clarity.

I am not willing to take away the years of someone's biological clock while sitting on the fence.

Maybe you're doing too much researching.  Over-thinking is never a good idea because it completely ruins intuition.

Yeah, I get that. I've been thinking about this for about 6 months where I do some research and then try to not think about it and research again. The hope is soon I will get a feel of what is right for me. I'm envious of my friends who just know.

My own.

No advice on both from my side anyway. lol
But honestly, I'm not sure if research is going to help you with this, unless you're a statistics driven person.

Good luck though. Smile

It's actually been very helpful to read all the advice from 1) parents who chose 2) parents that didn't 3) parents that regret it 4) childfree parents etc. You start to get a feel of what sides you relate to more.

And yeah, I'm a data driven guy and the data is not positive on this one lol

I'm glad to hear that deb, and I think that's a really lovely name.  It's nice to see the more old-fashioned names coming back into popularity.  Also I don't know if you know this, but I've just googled it, and Frieda derives from the Old Norse name Fríða, meaning "beautiful, beloved", while Tabitha is a Hebrew name meaning "beauty, grace", so your granddaughter is very blessed.
