Cooking a ham in coca-cola  If you've never tried it, do.   So bloody lovely - yum!

^ It certainly seems to be quite a popular recipe, and the one with a maple and mustard glaze sounds particularly yummy, although this is the first time I've come across it.  Will give it a try particularly as Tesco online are selling it as a cook your own meal package.

It's delicious, Aileen.  I don't do the glaze, not a fan of mustard, tbh.  Just the sweet ham, some roast potatoes or mash and some greens is fab.

I was just going to try the basic recipe initially anyway, so many thanks for the tip because I do like trying out new ideas.

it's an easy peasy recipe and if you get a big ham and do enough veg, it does you a big meal that does at least two days.  I'm all for the making things easy!

Me too, especially if it's something that can provide more than one meal.

Thinking that this is a rather stupid title for this thread because it's quite obvious what we're doing right now.
