There's a few of us on both, best of both worlds! And they are a fun group to be with at Davis Cup. Angie and I been having a great time . Met lots of lovely people. Being in a group really adds to the atmosphere. Linda it was a fantastic weekend. (Did Angie tell you about her tv moment lol?) Trying to figure out how to create same atmosphere in my living room for the final.... One of the drawbacks to teachers hols is they are fixed so no way I can get to Belgium!

I freely admit that I've only looked in on AMFF a few times, so maybe once you join it is more relaxed than the old am.com forum, which I felt was a bit like being back at school - having to ask permission to post an article, or even a link to one, and having to line up in a polite little line to thank members for their posts (something I see still exists), plus the fact that I felt that everything was closely monitored.

Don't think you need to do that now. Thanking posts is useful at times, it's not obligatory, it's a bit like Facebook like button. I'd quite like it on here. (Partly cos I don't always have time to comment on posts but it's a  quick way of showing I agree with it) I like that it's monitored so closely, it avoids some of the dramas that happened on here for a while and drive a few folk away. However,  both have good qualities so I'm happy to share myself around!

Thanks Westie.  I agree that MW could do without all the recent dramas, particularly when it got so bad that members left, although things seem to have settled down, for the moment anyway!

I've no intention of leaving debs. hug  All I said was that I'd thought about it at times when things were so nasty and unpleasant, then I remembered all the friendly folk on here and how much support I've had over the last few years, and that stopped me, especially as I really had no desire to give into being  bullied off the forum by a handful of ignorant louts, and so just avoided them as best I could.
