Looking forward to the New Year and hoping that it will be better than this one. Hoping that everyone has a nice Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Good god we need a little peace and a brighter future for our children and all young people in the world. Also hoping Andy keeps happy and healthy and goes on to win a slam and at last gets the respect that is due to him.

I want to see the end of the so-called Festive Season! Really hate it - and all the shops have their Christmas stuff on display from September! I can live with the cold at the beginning of the year (just) in the hope that spring isn't too far away. I really like it when the crocuses and daffodils come out.

Oh, but where's your Christmas spirit?! Tee hee. I'm the same. What is it with people falling over themselves to buy stuff they can ill afford? Madness, I tell ya.

Last day at work on 21st December. Got my parents over from the UK, so I'm not back at work until 18th January Only going to the tennis in OZ next year could have topped that but I will start saving for 2013
