My husband was reading todays paper and he was telling me that parts of Scotland were colder than the Antartic. Hope we do have a nice summer I am sick of the cold.
Not surprising, LB, because we've been hit by a weather system which is bringing cold air down from the Arctic via Scandinavia, and until that changes we'll have to go on freezing. My only comfort is the memory of 1969 when April and May were very cold, yet we went on to have a long and very warm summer that lasted well into October. However, I'm not holding my breath that this is going to happen this year!

Going to the Coldplay concert in Auckland on Saturday night. Haven't been able to think about much else this week!

I was looking forward to getting the book Andy Murray Champion. It came yesterday and as I'm not feeling very well at the moment I started to read it. I finished it last night and I did enjoy it worth every penny. It gives a good insight into Andy and the game of tennis. It was supposed to be a Christmas present but it fairly lifted my spirits I really did enjoy it. I would recommend it to everyone.

Youngest daughter going to that Where will you be staying, since your parents have moved?

It just so happened that boyfriends parents booked to see them too, so they took them up and brought them back. She stayed with with them in Hamilton overnight. Yes, she really enjoyed it. She has a few video clips on her camera. The wristbands look great in the dark

The wristbands were awesome and there was a quite audible gasp and a chorus of whoa's when they suddenly started flashing at the start but I was surprised at how little they were used. They were really only used in the first and last song and the encore. Would have been amazing for a song like Yellow in the middle. Great souvenir.
Speaking of traveling for things though I'm strongly looking into being a traveling fan for England cricket tour here in the summer. I mean, I'm in Wellington and I've got my brother in Auckland (or the girlfriend's parents although given she wouldn't be going I'm not sure I'm going to ask them for accommodation by myself!) and my parents in TA for the Hamilton matches.

Sounds like a good plan to me! I'm a bit disappointed that there's no test match in Hamilton but will go to the T20 and the ODI
