They never do things the easy way do they? Think Takes me back to October 2000, when they had to qualify for something or other, and needed a draw against Greece and Becks did it with the free kick.  What was better still, was that I was in the Cave Bar in Tenerife cmon yeah partyman Very Happy

I'm looking forward to getting my cat to the vets today and making sure she's well on the road to recovery stretcher

Yep. It will go right to the last seconds, like against Greece and like it always does. And I'll be at work avoidng the result all day so I can watch it when I get home in the evening. Frown

It never works that way some smart arse always tells you the score or you forget to turn the radio off in the car and hear it on the way home.

You will just have to throw a sickie  doctor 2 man down

lol Our friends, who came at Christmas, are big X-Factor/whatever it is with Simon Cowell fans Rolling Eyes, and they'd taped the last shows, so didn't know who'd won, only for the result to appear on NZ news Embarassed

Yes my chances are not good. I could never manage it at school, some bastard would always tell me. I remember skiving off first period at school a couple of times during Euro 2004. Whistle
It's been possible at Uni as it's easier to avoid the people who would tell me. At work I have very little chance. It will almost certainly be spoken about by someone during one or more of my breaks. Plus I also need to remember not to check my emails, or come on here or anything for a second. lol

And even after all that, I'll probably get a text from some bugger! With the Arsenal - Man Utd game a couple of weeks ago, I was watching it recorded rather than live. When I woke up there was a text on my phone. I made sure not to read it but I saw the name and it was from a Manc. So I sat through the whole game thinking we must have lost and there was a gloating text on my phone. When I read it afterwards, all it said was "watching the game?" sent at 3am when it was on live! lol
