3 books in 5 weeks is very impressive!
Yes, the first one is good. I've kept having a look at where my hubby's up to in the books and just reading a few pages
He's currently on the last book himself
then I have to give them back to a friend who lent them us. Just might have to go out and buy my own copies
Yes definately go and buy your own
See, this is the real reason why me and Neil didn't work ... he had alot to live up too. He wasn't six foot tall, he didn't have red hair, he wasn't left handed, he wasn't a left handed swordsman, he couldn't speak half a million languages and basically he wasn't the perfect Scotsman ever known to man (or fiction).

OMG Amy, Neil & you never stood a chance!
But then with priceless lines like 'when the day shall come that we do part, if my last words are not "I love you", you'll ken it was because I didna have time.'
nobody would!!!!!

HA! I could be well more charming than that
Do you think Diana Gabaldon is the author's real name?

And no, I'm afraid you wasn't up to that standard
Perhaps you should read the books and get some tips

Jamie Fraser is so much more than charming!
And yes I think that Diana Gabaldon is her real name.

I've read that! Quite racy, isn't it
Currently reading - The Boleyn Inheritance. Bit of Phillippa Gregory "history". It's trashy, but I quite like it.

Alexander Cordell - Song of the Earth
Hasn't grabbed me quite as quickly as Rape of the Fair Country and Hosts of Rebecca did, but I'm still in love with the way he writes. It just beautiful beautiful prose. Has anyone else read any of these? (Wondering if you have to be Welsh/to have lived in Wales to 'get' them).
