Can't believe it but Chelsea's defence is worse than ours.  That was incredible. The only thing more satisfying than seeing Theo fall over. then get up and storm straight through Ashley Cole to bang it in can be John Terry falling flat on his face to let Van Persie into score. If I ever see anything that makes me feel better than that in my whole life I'll be a happy man. |

If I ever see anything that makes me feel better than that in my whole life I'll be a happy man. It's a magnificent win, but our defence truly isn't good enough. We played pretty high trying to play offside, but Djourou and Santos didn't have a good game defensively. Mertesacker's positionng was criminal too. Hope the return of Vermaelen will bring some stability back there. The offence is looking promising again. With Wilshere and maybe some reinforcement in January, this could be a solid season though. |

Spurs look a far better side than Arsenal. Their front six is absolutely fantastic.
Bale - Modric - Parker - Lennon.
Most balanced midfield in the EPL.

Sp*rs will **** it up cos they are Sp*rs. Wouldn't say they are "far better" than us either. At the start of the season for sure but I'd say it's pretty close at the moment. I'd only take Parker from their midfield anyway, I've wanted to sign him for years.
City are running away with it with United trailing then Chelsea a distant 3rd. 4th probably up for grabs between Sp*rs, Liverpool and Arsenal. I'd probably have Liverpool favourites as things stand at the moment but if we're looking in danger of missing out when the January window opens Wenger will be forced to make a big signing . Just like he had to splash out on Arshavin who then single handedly carried us to 4th in the 2nd half of that season.
We look like we're going the right direction now but still only the usual annual November-April Van Persie injury layoff away from plummeting back down the table.

I read somewhere that Andy supports Arsenal which makes sense as he loves good football. His
Scottish team are rubbish at the moment and I would guess he supports them for sentimental
reasons because his grandfather played for them at one time.
