Was at the last home game of the season for Tenerife last night. Incredible atmosphere and there was such tension. We dominated the start and scored early but conceded right away. Then in the 2nd half we attacked constantly and were so close on so many times. Really felt it was not our night, then they scored. Disaster! But with the last kick of the game, we equalized!!! 2-2!!! Nino with his 14th of the season.

So going into the last game, there are still 5 teams battling relegation. Xerex have 33pts, Tenerife, Malaga, Racing and Valladolid are all on 36pts. Malaga and Valladolid play Real and Barca so they wont gain any points. Tenerife are away to Valencia and need at least a point. It could end with 5 teams on the same points!

They may have got near, but I know that the last time a team scored 100 goals was in 62/63, and then it was a 22 team league. I'm wondering if it was ever done earlier.

Ancelotti has done well to win the Premier League on his first try although 1 point is mighty close (86 points is a little low).  Mourinho did it with class by winning with a record 95 points, followed with another big points total in the second season. 

However, winning by 8 goals and scoring 100 goals in a season will surely put him in Abromavich good book of playing exciting football.  I think he has a fantastic future at Chelsea (assuming he is given the cash to renew the slowly aging team).

What about a fifth striker (assuming Rooney, Heskey, Defoe and Crouch are certs)? Bent? Zamora?
Will Carrick come? Is Barry worth the risk?
