Great stuff from Blackpool. From the bottom tier to the Premiership in 9 years. Hopefully they can have a decent go at it and not go straight back down.
What about the free kick goal from that guy Adam? Absolutely incredible goal, especially considering the occasion. Has to be right up there with all time goals scored at Wembley. Close to the best free kick I've ever seen.

I'm glad to see him shine in the Championship, he was always a very technically gifted player, just lacked work ethic, but he looks like he has dropped about a stone in weight and yesterday he played well in extremely hot conditions. It was an absolute belter of a free kick.
He scored some cracking goals in Europe, this one in the CL against Stuttgart always sticks out.

No chance - Smith has worked without contract, he knows the score, no man is bigger than the club. This news makes me think a takeover is close to completion. |

Looks like Rangers could be signing Chris Eagles, not a bad signing if he can deliver any sort of consistency - we need width badly.
Thomson out, Eagles in, Davis pushed into CM (his best position)
Not a bad bit of business.

Yeah is looking that way, will miss thompson though, the way he tears into tackles is a highlight of his game! Gets him a few yellows and the odd red but i like him he's got the fighting spirit that the rangers midfield need and he'll be sorely missed! Not seen alot of "eagles" but i trust walter's judgement seen as he doesn't have alot to spend he'll be looking to spend it wisely! |

Als a couple of other "RUMOURS" rangers are waiting on thompsons move to go through before making a bid for james Mcarthy and then will wrap up the transfers with a reported bid of 1.5m for goodwillie! again these are only rumours don't know how much truth is behind them!  |
