Fabregas is far better than Tevez, and is a more complete footballer than Drog.

Unfair to compare midfielders and forwards though.

Haha Fabregas is the best player in Premiership, despite the fact that Arsenal have come nowhere near winning it in f**king years. So you'd rather have Fabregas over Drogba if you were offered both?

Who is the 2nd best? Modric? Cahill?

Italy-Serbia MASSIVELY kicking off. Serbian fans hurling objects at their team bus, throwing flares/fireworks onto the pitch, burning Kosovan flags (******* funny tbh).

Match abondoned apparently.

More importantly, the match counts as void and my acca stays together!

Scotland V Spain
2123:GOAL Scotland 2-2 Spain

What a turnaround! James Morrison plays a one-two with Darren Fletcher and fires a low cross into the box and Spain defender 2-2

2136: GOAL Scotland 2-3 Spain
Spain regain their lead with substitute Fernando Llorente side-footing home from Joan Capdevila's cross.

2137: Scotland have 10 minutes to find another equaliser and Jamie Mackie has now replaced Graham Dorrans.

"Don't lose heart, Scotland. C'mon lads!!"

Lost all interest in the England football team now. They've flattered to deceive for far too long. Utter embarassment in the World Cup this summer, shown up by a young German team with pace, skill and no mental baggage. Yet, come these 2012 qualifiers, the same old failures are still packing out the squad. The entire national team setup needs an overhaul, but there's no sign of it. Frown

So gutted for Scotland.

If only we had played like that against the Czech Republic.

Apologies if already posted.

How's this for a goalie clanger? Believe it's in Morocco - love how the keeper turns away to kiss the badge, clearly thinking he's amazing!

lmao

Was well proud of our lads tonight. They went out there with determination and belief and it almost paid off. Spain will no doubt go all the way deep into this tournament and it's an excellent thing to be able to have played that well against them.

Haha yeah that's been doing the rounds of facebook and a few forums for a while now. Good stuff!

I also found this quite funny. The gaping mouth/speechbubble hahaha. And yes, Ian Harte is still alive and banging home the goals for Reading.

On the subject of England, they are sh*t. Capello plays boring football and can't really seem to inspire the players. People go on about what he has won, how he "commands respect" and has "great discipline", I couldn't give a f**k if he is a pedo and a rapist but wins football matches. Long and short of it is that we've come through an easy group, scored 2 f**king goals against someone who calls it Soccer, a team of negative thugs in Algeria, and Slovenia who have been a country for about 20 years and have less people living there than in my house. He's achieved nothing.

I can't wait to be standing in Bristol City's away stand dump huddled in with all the Reading fans on Tuesday night. Aaaaaah real football. Been to Wembley before, the stadium is pretty incredible at first, but it's basically a massive red cereal bowl with 0 atmosphere. granted there were 15000 or so empty seats due to tube strikes.

You didn't play too badly against the Czechs either. Just 2 late goals. Ironic as Spain haven't played THAT well over the last year or so but won the World Cup. They were miles better at the Euros. I think people are slowly figuring out how to play them.

Garath Barry really is an absolutely woeful player isn't he?

My dad was at the game and texted me that we were as woeful as ever.

Not sure I've ever got woeful more than once into a single post but I feel it's appropriate here. lol

Went to the NZ - Paraguay friendly last night. Pretty poxy game to be honest which Paraguay won 2-0 with 2 first half goals. Winston Reid, now of West Ham following an impressive World Cup, was sent off in the last minute for a pathetic studs up lunge half way up the guy's leg from behind. Showed the general mentally of a Kiwi sports crowd that he was given a standing ovation and the loudest cheer of the night when walking off while the referee and injured Paraguayan were called every name imaginable.

Was sitting just a few rows in front of the Prime Minister which was strangely quite exciting. He managed to slip out unnoticed at half time though as he wasn't there in the 2nd half.
