Bummer! Scotland had their chances but couldn't take them. England had theirs and took them. End of story.
Some debate though as to whether the match should have taken place at all as storm Ciara is making her presence well and truly felt here!

I thought that like many sports events that it might have a changed start time. My road race tomorrow was cancelled as potentially unsafe. However with television coverage constraints I suppose something as simple as playing it a little earlier in the day was not possible. I thought it made the game a lottery. Despite that I thought Scotland looked most likely to win as they made better choices for the conditions. A pity there is no roof as at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff?

Very likely, although the weather in Edinburgh wasn't too bad - windy but mainly clear and sunny - until it got to about 2 pm when Ciara hit us with a vengeance! Still, we had plenty of warning that the storm was on its way, but I suppose most people hoped it would hold off until later, something that wasn't really helped by variable forecasts.

Scotland usually do tend to play better in poor conditions, but if they made better choices then they seemed to have had problems implementing them! A roof would be a good idea, and they do have one now over the West Stand, but I'd think that the cost of renovating the existing stadium at Murrayfield would be too costly for the SRU, although I understand that they're looking to find a new venue, presumably an area where they could build a stadium from scratch, something which might be a little less costly process? As for the match being a lottery, I think the fairly low scoreline sums it up quite well, because the wind played havoc with the ball, particularly when it came to scoring penalty goals.

I thought Scotland would have pulled this off, as they certainly do play better than the rest in bad weather. Glad the score line was close though .

A rather scrappy win against Italy, but at least Scotland remembered how to score tries!

Well done Scotland you all played well and won a rather scrappy game. The captain Stuart Hogg had a great match and I would vote him the man of the match.
Hopefully, this good form will continue it is good to see our national team play well even in the pouring rain.

Finn Russell was the man of the match for me, but Hogg did come a close second, It was very weird though watching them play without spectators, even weirder than tennis matches in fact.
Also this is the first time we've beaten the Auld Enemy at Twickenham since 1983!

Great win from Scotland, played well most of the time. Redpath looks a good addition to the team and Stuart Hogg was man of the match. Great for them getting to hold the Calcutta Cup at Twickenham

This sums the Scotland vs Australia match up really. We lead 15-6 after an hour and then go on to lose 16-15, not helped by Glen Young being sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes. Kinghorn did very well throughout the match though, so it's a bit unfortunate that that last minute penalty proved to be just a kick too far.

Scotland 52 - Argentina 29 in a match that's been described as 'total chaos', something I wouldn't disagree with. I've seen some dirty play in my time but I don't think I've seen a mass brawl before, and Argentina suffered as a result. Give them their due though they never gave up, scoring a try in the dying seconds.

Well done Scotland, I enjoyed the match except when the scuffling started, all in the heat of the moment.
