Well that was very annoying. Sat there for about 110 minutes watching a pretty average game and then Sky lost the coverage. With no explanation they filled in with those 'Past Euros' clips they show at half time and finally rejoined the action at 3-1 in the shootout. Not even so much as a "we are experiencing technical difficulties, sorry for the inconvenience" across the bottom of the screen as you would usually get.
So I only got 1 semi finalist right. And there is a going to be 1 re-match, but the opposite one.
Like I said, that's the beauty of football. Something might seem more likely but it never is. If Russia can re-produce their game from yesterday then I would back them to beat Spain. Got a feeling that will be another 120 minute plus job. Neither of them will beat Germany in a final though, and neither will Turkey in the semi final.
As a side note completely irrelavant to the game, during half time here they showed Casillas and Torres taking a quiz on Spain's history at the Euros. Torres looked a bit of an idiot and only got 2/5 but Casillas knew everything. First question asked the year Spain won it and who they beat in the final and Torres replied with "no idea, I think it was before I was born."
Casillas on the other hand even knew the scorers.
