Doesn't matter as long as Federer is denied titles.
High Five Emma. Same feelings.

I just caught the end of Fed/Berd and none of Nole/JM.. but sounds like DelPo was giving him a bit of trouble. Anyone see it?

Berdych does it again. What's his H2H against Federer since 2010 now? Good stuff, served it out to love. This means Andy will gain on Federer (only 20 points) despite losing 300 of his own. Since 2010 the head-to-head is 5-3 in Berdych's favour including today. Berdych won in Miami, Wimbledon in 2010. Cincinnati in 2011 and the US Open and of course Dubai in 2012/2013. Though the overall head-to-head is 11-6 now to Fed, though I see Berdych owning Fed a bit now and perhaps levelling or getting a winning head-to-head against Federer.

Berdych closed the match very nicely. Suggests he had no reason to choke.

Surely a good reason to find Berd a bit more likeable? I was just thinking this. Every time he beats Federer I warm to him a little more.

Didnt look like he was giving trouble in the first set. I missed the second but I guess Delpo fought a bit in the end.

A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

In a match plague vs. Cholera I want to thank Berdych for this victory which allows Andy to catch up on Fed and makes Fed look on the descent. He has not reached a final this year. I hope he can keep that up.

When was the last time Federer lost from MP? Doesn't happen often. Unless he's playing Djokovic in New York.

I shall marry Berdych if he beats Nole (unlikely - though even a dog has its day, no?)

I quite like Berdy so I don't feel the need to warm up to him. I am already hot for him.

Last time Fed lost after having match point was that epic SF at the US in 2011 against Djokovic.
