Last time Fed lost after having match point was that epic SF at the US in 2011 against Djokovic.
He had 5 match points if I remember correctly. What a blunder! He must have kicked himself the whole night.

I shall marry Berdych if he beats Nole (unlikely - though even a dog has its day, no?)
Berdych isn't beating Djoko King.

Does being able to bash a ball really hard really count as talent these days?

Ah - come on, now. Love or hate Fed - you can't take away what he's achieved over the years.

Of course I can't. He still plays great, on occasions, but right now, he's in his twighlight, has 2 maybe 3 years left on tour. Fedtards are the ones calling on him to retire though

He is, and that must be hard for him to come to terms with. I guess if you're him you get used to winning, and it must be very difficult to give that up. I wonder if he ever thought about the day this would happen?

I don't think he has. I think he thought he would go on for a long time yet, his arrogance I believe is his belief that he can go on for a long time yet. Time catches up on all of us and there are no exceptions.

"I want to give myself the best possible chance to play as long as I can," Federer said.
"Eventually, it will be clear that it is time to stop but the time is definitely not now," he said. "But then again, things change very quickly. You have to be ready for it and open to it. I'm not naive that I can play for 15 more years but I would like to give myself a chance to play for many more years to come. I'm happy with where my body is at."

Of course he did. I know Fed is a bit of an arrogant twat, but he's also a realist, and the majority of the time he's intelligent as well. He must of been preparing for this day for a while, because he knows that it happens to the best around this age. Aggasi won his last Slam aged 32, I feel Federer might do that as well.
