The baton finally handed over. Feels for the first time like a true winner was actually out there from the next generation. He looks consistent, can step up for the big points and then not choke. This guy is going to eat up grand slams for a while like Federer did when he had little in the way of proper competition.

The first time in 18 years someone outside the big 4 has won Wimbledon. And the first time in 18 years someone outside the 'big 4 + Wawrinka' has won one of the AO, French or Wimbledon.

That is unusual. I’ve sent Aileen a message.

I'm not a fan of Alcaraz but even less of a fan of Djokovic, so well done for knocking the king off his throne! I still do like Alcaraz well done at the USO

Great final between Medvedev and Sinner in Vienna. No mind games just amazing tennis. Well done Jannik Sinner, but well played Daniil Medvedev.

Sinner narrowly defeated Rune to let Djoko into the semis. Was really hoping Rune would win because Sinner's through anyway. Now I want Sinner to win the whole thing!

They are, especially as they confirm what we've all known for years, that Djokovic excels at gamesmanship when he thinks he's in danger of losing a match, and who could forget him taking time out to have his legs massaged just before Andy served for the USO championship!

Yes I remember that. Thankfully it didn’t work that day!

Glad to see Sinner through to the final after losing what was a very tight second set.
