Australian Open 2009

I fourth that!

Djokovic has had a bit of a bad attitude in interviews recently.

For me, Rafa has now edged ahead as the favourite for the title.

Djokovic is the defending champ and should be eager to reclaim the title and Fed should still be motivated enough to equal Sampras's record, despite being woeful against Berdych. (Didn't see any of the match though. search me)

Something to do with the heat.

Apparently the heat affected his right leg which in turn affected his service action which led to him getting broken to love which led to him turning into a big girls blouse

Very Happy  I'm trying REALLY hard not to gloat, but my face seems to be fixed in a Joker-like grin Very Happy

Obviously hope his "injury" isn't serious - I want Andy to have the chance to wup him asap yay

I,too, am trying hard not to gloat. He seemed to be suffering at the end of the third set which was where I picked it up. Apparently he had had  a doctor out previously. He said in the post match i/v that he had asked for a night time match as he had not had time to recover from his previous one. Commentators (British Eurosport) reckoned he could have played the next few games, the shadow was due over in half an hour - at least Roddick would have had a proper win. They reckoned Novak just didn't want to  lose so threw in the towel. Fair comment? Who am I to say? We all know how these things are misconstrued in the media. Whistle Whistle

He's done it before v Fed. The man's a bad loser. At least Muzz didn't make excuses and quit even though he was clearly ill.

Jelena Dokic has just taken the second set against Safina, 1 set all now.  I thought Dokic would fold in this match after going over on her ankle in the last one, plus the fact that is was over 3 hours long.

Maybe she could give Novak some tips on how to fight to the end.  w00t

Dokic sure has some fighting spirit and she never looks likes she's enjoying herself, but I'm sure she is! Very Happy
