The courts are there for a reason.

So Djokovic took a test, got a positive result six hours later, and then spent the next week doing various in person events. This means that:

a) he knowingly went around whilst positive, potentially infecting other people
or
b) it's a fix

Djokovic is a world class wanker, but surely even he would isolate if he were actually positive. Which points towards b. This fits with the awfully convenient timing as well.

It all utterly stinks. Assuming he actually plays, will be interesting to see the general crowd reaction to him.

Which I've a feeling could be rather hostile, or should I say more hostile than usual!

Doubt still surrounds his participation though.

I so agree with every word of your post.

It’s a fix. 100%.  Djokovic constantly shows disregard for safety rules and vaccinations and so it continues. Lock him up for 12 months and the ATP should ban him for at least that long anyway. The level of his arrogance and disrespect for others is staggering.

What some Australian newsreaders/journalists really thought about Djokovic.

I didn’t watch the video but the original tweet linking to it is interesting - pretty sure the @ozraeliavi mentioned is an Australian Farage/Lawrence Fox type. Quite telling that that sort have leapt to Djokovic’s defence. Anti-vax/Covid hoax stuff seems to have become a new staple for those grifters.

Unsure right now if ND himself has aligned with Farage and his ilk, or just his family. For many (me included), that’s a particularly bad look. Just insane that he has taken this turn over the years. Was he always so odd? I don’t remember him being like this back in the early days, when he was just ahead of Andy but not exactly setting the world alight (2007-2010 period).

lol - Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!

Now the Serbian PM has stepped in  -

"Serbian PM says Djokovic could face sanctions if he's found to have broken the covid rules"

Considering the grilling of Boris for not adhering to the rules please let Australia have the courage to deport NOVAK.

He endangered others for his own selfish reasons for not isolating when positive and lied on the forms to enter Australia.  He is a disgrace to sport and the whole civilised world.

^ seems the positive test may have been a fraud solely to get the exemption when he was in fact negative.

Whatever his past, used endlessly to make him special, he has shown himself to be despicable in his behaviour.

HE MUST BE PUNISHED BY ATP AND SERBIA .....................................and AUSTRALIA should  DEPORT HIM.

According to Times Radio, the Australian government might be trying to do a face saving deal with Djok. If he leaves the country voluntarily now he can come back next year. If he doesn't he will be deported which will mean that he will have to stay out for three years.
