And yes, Hingis is pretty arrogant... Glad Kim kicked her ass. But she did kiss Kim and kept on talking to her at the net so she really thought Kim earned it! And she did!
I am so getting up tomorrow at 5... I have chemistry the first hour  zz I'll catch up on my sleep roflmao

I quite like Mauresmo and Hingis but I don'treally have any idea what they do off the court.

Good win for Kim. Hope she does well now, she's a great player.

Bad luck to Martina. It was a great run, and I'm sure we're gonna see her fighting many more great matches in Grand Slams.

Personally Mauresmo seems like a nice person to me.... I wish her well in her semi because she's not won a Slam before and I think she's proved she's got the talent. Hingis is nice too IMO. Clijsters is super nice.

Predictions for the ladies semis though? - Henin-Hardenne and Clijsters.

Poor Kim! Her career has just been plagued with injury! To have to retire in such a close match must be devistating. Mauresmo did seem to be quite sympathetic and understanding in the end too. I think she could well win it now.

I got up at 5, then went back to sleep and got up at 6 and watched Kim. I had to leave for school and listened on the radio in the car. I heard she had injured and twisted her ankle badly and that she was going for medical time out. When I came home I heard she had to give up after one ball after the time out. If Kim was in top form, she would have had no problems with Mauresmo. I was so pissed! ranting  Crying or Very sad It's my 2 least favourite women in the finals, jeeeej Rolling Eyes

The point Kim played after having the trainer on, she was finding it hard to walk let alone run, so she had no choice but to retire.  That's shame becuase I had at least half an hour before I had to go school and was looking forward to a close third set. ranting
