Yeah, that's Robin Haase not Tommy Haas. When Tommy was playing Rafa recently I noticed his chest is really tanned and yummy. Rafa's is only yummy when it's photoshopped on Armani ads but Tommy's is the real deal!!!

Nice little article about Tommy Haase who turned 25 on 6 April and one of my fave players whose career has unfortunately been dogged by injury.

Only really posted it on here because of the photo of Milos admiring Haase's pecs. At least that's what the caption says he's doing!
Do you mean Robin Haase (Ruud Van Nistlerooy's long lost twin)?
Gave Andy a right scare at the US Open in August.
Won in Kitsbuhel (250) last year but hasn't really been able to push on since.

That match was definitely not for Andy fans of a nervous disposition!!

No not at all. After he got trounced in the 2nd set I went upstairs and followed it on Live Scores fearing the worst. When he got it back to 2-2 I decided to go back and watch the 5th set, thinking Haase was dead on his feet and Murray would coast. 4-0 up in the 5th, game over.... and then Haase finds some unbelievable shots and suddenly it's 4-4. Then more break points trying to serve it out.... then Haase hits it long on match point, only to challenge and have it go back to Deuce... my god, torture, absolute torture.
That was twice in a matter of weeks that Andy had thought he'd won a close match, only to have match point challenged and proved to be in, taking it to Deuce both times (the other being the match against Fish in Cinci).

Wasn't that the match where Haase, having lost a set 6-0 had a medical time out, a massage, and for all I know a visit from the Pope, and then played lights out in the final set?
Ho hum..

Yes Haase called for the trainer at the end of the 4th, during which set he also smashed up his racket.
But it took him until 4-0 down in the decider to magically spring into life.
For those who want to re-live nearly 8 minutes of agony - the last game of that match ...

Knocked out by experienced clay-courter Montanes in the first round today. I caught the opening set and a half and he looked really off the pace, often making some great forehands then plonking the next shot wide. To his credit Montanes played really well, his one-handed backhand down the line was excellent.

Methinks Raonic flatters to deceive but his saving grace is that he is still young.

Not too surprised that he lost to Montanes. I wouldn't have thought Milos's game is suited to clay - his serve won't do too much damage and he rarely plays defensive tennis. He'll be dangerous at Wimbledon though.

Isner hasn't done too badly lately! I guess his serve is going to do damage on any surface though.

That's very true, Isner's had brilliant wins recently. Perhaps Milos will be able to improve further on clay with more experience, when he gets used to how to move effectively on the surface. I think both will struggle in long rallies though.

Milos looked really awkward on the clay. Couldn't seem to get his movement right and hence his timing was right off too.

Too bad! Hope he improves on the clay as he goes along. Really hoping he does well at Wimbly - let's hope he doesn't slip on the grass again.
