The commies today during the semi said they think Milos should peak at Wimbly and play really well. App. a commie last year predicted Milos would win Wimbly within four years. I really hope so. I just wish Andy would win it soon.
Re: Wimbly, I hope he acclimatizes to the slippery grass well and doesn't have another accident.
Hope he performs well at Rome and Madrid, I seem to recall he doesn't have that many points to defend. Top 20 here he comes...

Milos has been so impressive this week. I didn't think he'd be good on clay but he really is. His serve still works so well and he's able to be very aggressive with his forehand and hit through the court. Beating Almagro, Andy and then being so competitive against Ferrer is definitely a week to be proud of.
I imagine he'll do really well at Wimbledon with his game. Love his calm and mature attitude on court too.

Don't like his game bores the hell out of me. I actually don't think he will do all that well on grass as he won't have the time to set up his forehand and have not been impressed with his feel at the net.
A bit like Soderling clay could be his best surface.

Just watched this match..
Ah well. Good run for Meelosh.. went much farther than anyone (including me) would have imagined.
The writing was on the wall when his 1st serve went AWOL. Credit to Daveed, he managed to read Milos' serve well...but credit to Milos that he took Ferrer to the max.
He looked so sharp up until 3-3 in 1st set, then his 1st serve started to let him down. Again, credit to him for saving 4 set points before conceding.
2nd set was flashes of immaturity mixed with flashes of future brilliance. How about that cross-court forehand to save the 1st match-point?!! They guy can surely only go up.
What impresses me the most about Milos is his cool nerves, and his full-on attack, no matter the consequences... and he's Canadian of course, eh?
I wish we could morph Andy with Milos. Can you imagine???

If only Andy had Milos' serve he'd be unbeatable coz the rest of his game is sooooooooooo good. If only Milos had the rest of Andy's game...

Completely agree. Perhaps Raonic, Isner and all these too tall big servers could all go into the same quarter of the draw and spare us having to actually
watch
them playing our favourites.

I just put a tenner on Meeeelos winning Wimby. I got 40-1 with Victor Chandler. Fill yer boots - he's going to serve everyone off the park.

He's going to be unbreakable! If you want to beat the guy on grass, it's going to have to be 6-7 7-6 7-6 7-6.

Christ. He's 126-1 for the French Open. Now THAT's tempting.

If that's really the case, I'm off to follow another sport

Yeah, I second that. How many players would kill to have a serve like his?

Christ, bit of an over-reaction to one tournament.
If that's the case why has Isner never won Wimbledon? Or Karlovic?
Raonic is not consistent enough, right here, right now, to win a Slam. Andy was getting the measure of him by the end of the 2nd set. There will be games where his serve goes missing. Think back to Murray vs Isner at the USO last year. There will be chances for the opponents, and the better players will take those. Even if he plays to the standard he has this week over three sets and dumps out a top player, the chances are slim of him being able to do it again two days later against the next top player.
Christ, would people have been making these assumptions after he lost to Montanes in Monte Carlo? He may well win a Slam (most likely Wimbledon, if any) in a few years time but the sudden predictions of world #1 and multi-Slam winner by some on here based on beating an off-form Murray on his least-favourite surface is very, very fickle.
