And they're through to the final despite losing the second set in the tiebreak, which incidentally will be an Australian one! Hope they've got enough energy left to play two matches on the same day,

And they lift the title beating Kubler & Peers 7-6(7-4), 7-5., so very well done to them!

Kyrgios into the Washington final, having done what Andy failed to do - beat Mikael Ymer. Plays Yoshihito Nishioka against whom he has a 3-0 record.
And Kyrgios did lift the title beating Nishioka in straight sets.

And the good news is that his ranking has gone up from 63rd to 37th. Just shows you what he's capable of when he decides he wants to play tennis.

He'll be pleased to have a higher ranking following Washington, he must have been fed up not getting any points after Wimbledon.
He always has been a very good tennis player, but it's possible he's playing better these days to impress his girlfriend?

Or to prove the critics wrong?
He won the doubles too along with Jack Sock, so a great achievement really.

Yes Nick did really well with Jack Sock in the doubles - was that in Washington?
He continued his fine form in Montreal by beating the #1 seed Daniil Medvedev 7/6, 4/6, 6/2, well done Nick
He plays Alex de Minaur in the next round and is on the way to winning the Montreal Masters title ...

Didn't see the match but he beat de Minaur 6-2, 6-3 to set up a meeting with the No. 8 seed Hubert Hurkacz,

^ The Guardian says Kyrgios is "the hottest player on the tour"
He defeated Alex de Minaur in just over an hour and his ranking should be pretty good in time for the USO.
Well done Kyrgios, it's easy to like players when they do well and are winning, but Kyrgios has had plenty of MW support during the losing times as well.
So yes let's see how he does with Hurkacz in the quarter final.
