^ I'm looking forward to it.
Meanwhile there's plenty of attention on Kyrgios and the other day he says there were 13 cameras on the court where he was practising. Nick posted a picture of himself on Instagram where he's seen attached to an intravenous drip following the spider bite he suffered.

^ Are you still enjoying it? Nick is 5-2 down in the second .....
Anyway he was really astonished at the amount of attention his spider bite caused!

Oh no he lost the first set
His foot must still be hurting or his tennis shoes are uncomfortable
Yes I think he was happy that so many people were interested in the spider bite story
Come on Nick, what are you thinking about? ....

As Nick slumps out of the top 50, after having had a career high of #13 in October 2016, this was his defiant response: "I could not care less" -

Thanks Aileen - his reaction is funny
But he ought to care and he was in the Top 50 and now he isn't. Looking forward to seeing Nick at the AO

That's been the story of his career - if he feels like playing then he's capable of producing great tennis, but if he decides he can't be bothered, well too bad. It doesn't help though that he's had a few injury problems over the last two years.
As far as the AO goes he'll now be unseeded so, like Andy, could met anyone in R1 from Djokovic downwards.

Well yes, that's the thing he needs to take on board. He'll be unseeded at the AO and so therefore he could meet Djokovic or Rafa, or anyone, in R1.
I didn't see Nick's match with Chardy I only followed the live scores. But Nick appeared to be playing all right and then he just seemed to lose it - he lost the match and somehow he lost himself along the way. You can't blame the spider for this - if the spider was still bothering him or upsetting him he shouldn't have been playing.
I do like Nick but really ......

Nick plays Raonic in R1 at the AO on Tuesday 15th January.
Raonic is seeded 17 and is a good player of course.
Good luck Nick
