Nick Kyrgios

Well it's alleged. The press and people who don't like him will always look at the worst side of him. It could turn out to just be a rumour. We have to wait.
And AJla says he never bothered her.

^ In the eyes of the law people are innocent until proven guilty, and that applies here.  There's too much trial by the media these days anyway.  They never come out and say a person is guilty of a crime but nearly always make sure that the insinuation is there.

^  I agree with all you say.

He's a Wimbledon finalist so he deserves something to be said about him - he isn't someone to be ignored is he!

Nice holiday if you can afford it!  Nick does deserve it though. Smile

I should think he can afford it!  It'll be a nice break for him.

I'm sure he can, so was just speaking generally!

Nick's still away (I wouldn't have said he was "heartbroken" after losing to Djokovic)

^ I  don't think he was heart-broken either and neither was it a crushing defeat.  Typical media sensationalism.

^ It wasn't a crushing defeat, the media are stupid, did they watch the match?

Kyrgios has withdrawn from the singles at the Atlanta Open because of a knee injury.
He still hopes to play doubles with Thanasi on Thursday (R2).

Fortunately it sounds as though the injury isn't all that bad.

The other good news is that Kyrgios won't have to appear in court on the hearing's new date of 23 August, which leaves him free to play in the USO.  He's also accepted a wild card into Cincinnati.
