Nole is posting tweets about his "Nolefam" all over the world, think this is how he calls his fans. Yuk:(
13 maart 2013:I haven't wrote to you in a long time my #nolefam. But yesterday I finally went to check what are you doing and what are you talking about on twitter. I've noticed how strong and connected group we are now. Our #nolefam is all over the globe: from China, India, Australia to France; from Serbia, Germany to the UK, from Egypt, US to South America... many of you are great tennis fans and are cheering for me, and thank you for it! But what I love the most about you is that you talk to each other on many various topics that don't include tennis: like school exams, personal life challenges, love and fears... just like one true family!
I honestly believe that I have the best fans in the world! I am blessed! Thank you my #nolefam for being like a family to me and for being like family to each other! Love from my #teamfam
Please god Andy doesn't start behaving like this ...
Fortunately I can't see him ever doing so. Novak is an extrovert showman, whereas Andy isn't and that's one of the things that makes him so special for me anyway. I like Novak too but in a different sort of way.

That is so OTT. I hope Andy would not put out something like that.

Nole didn't start calling his fans that-they did.
I remember seeing a Ustream he did a little while back ,and the fans sent in a question,to ask him if he was ok with them calling themselves "Nolefam",that if he didn't like it they'd change it (or something along those lines). He was hardly about to say no!
I really think when he writes messages like that it's just him trying to be nice to his fans.He always comes across to me as that kind of guy anyway-friendly,enthusiastic,wanting people to know he's interested-I think it just maybe comes across slightly stronger (ok,very strongly
) when written down!
And I don't think we're in any danger of Andy posting messages like that-but it doesn't mean Andy doesn't care about his fans just as much as Novak,it's just,as Aileen said, got to do with the two being very different personalities!

^^ Soon we'll be seeing them at tournaments in matching hats etc, making sure their support is both seen and heard.

But in a classy manner, unlike fedtards.

Yeah, it seems to be a certain contingent of Nolefans who call themselves the "Nolefam" and they make videos and awards for him and everything. It's definitely not Nole who started that.

Novak likes to keep in contact with his fans. I don't personally see anything wrong with that. Some may cringe, but I think if he's being who he is and his fans are delighted, then what's wrong with that?

As well as being a fan of Andy, I'm also Djoker and Del Potro fan.
I love the way Nole interacts with his fans, and I think his personality suits the whole thing. That being said I don't think it would suit Andy if he started doing it...

I've seen it before as well. It's hilarious. A bit sad though to see Robin Soderling as he was before he got mono.
The thing is though that Andy probably only feels confident about doing something like this when he's with people he knows. Djoko on the other hand is the ultimate showman who's happy to perform before any appreciative audience.
