Novak plays Lucas Pouille (#28) in the semi final of the AO on Rod Laver Arena today (Friday) at 8:30am our time.
Lucas has gone further this year than he ever has before, in a grand slam.  Lucas plays right handed, as does Novak.
They don't know each other's game very well so it should be an interesting match.
Novak could be considered as the fresher of the two as Kei Nishikori sadly had to withdraw injured from their previous match.
Novak will definitely be motivated to win as he would then be in the final alongside Rafa.
Novak is trying to achieve a record 7th AO title.   At present Novak, RF and Roy Emerson all have 6 AO titles.

Feel sorry for Pouille.  That was a pretty emphatic defeat.

I think it'll be a 5 set match and that one of these players will win ....... Smile
