Successful premiere of the Lindt Christmas Lighting Event
Kilchberg near Zurich, (Switzerland), 17 November 2010
Yesterday evening the Lindt & Sprüngli Chocolate Factory was the setting for a spectacular light show.
Brand ambassador Roger Federer
, the Lindt Maîtres Chocolatiers and Ernst Tanner, Chairman and CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli, set the kick-off for the festive light projections by artist Gerry Hofstetter. Around 8000 visitors marvelled at the festive images and enjoyed the magical Christmas village around the chocolate factory.

Q: Christmas is almost here. Are you already in Christmas mood?
RF: Not yet although a couple of days ago we were in the city centre and bought CDs with Christmas songs for the kids. Yesterday we played them for the first time so we are slowly getting there. The weather has become colder too...
Q: And what about Christmas presents? Are there many many presents for the kids or you are careful not to spoil them?
RF: Well, the case with twins is that when you give a present to one of them, you should also give a present to the other one. That's why there are many presents from many people. We also try to give them presents from time to time. They can't understand so well yet what is it all about. Of course they get excited but their excitement is short-lived. We also try not to go over the top of course because we have been raised modestly as well... But I hope that they stay healthy and lusty. That's enough for me.
Q: Do you give presents to your wife Mirka?
RF: Hm.... To be honest I don't give a special present for Christmas because we give ourselves many presents during the rest of the year. I like flowers a lot and I know that she likes them too so I always try to give her flowers. Of course from time to time when the kids have a birthday, etc also a birthday card or jewels are also nice...
Q: Have you finished with the family planning?
RF: You mean more kids in the future? Oh.. hm... we'll see. Let's first enjoy Myla and Charlene and then we'll see. At the moment there is a lot going on and you need to invest a lot of energy to run after the kids, etc. but it is extreme fun with them. Will there be a third kid? I hope so but it's not in our plans yet.
