If you lived on the Cornish coast you'd know about fine weather interference. We were told that when we were all forced to have digital TVs we wouldn't suffer anymore of it. Ha ha we do.

I am home today watching Harrison Vs Simon. Very interesting match so far. Harrison was serving for the 2nd set but just got broken by Simon and now 6-5 Simon. Not sure what happened in between as my TV went all blank on me but after it got back, the crowd was booing Harrison ...the ever so usual notorious French crowd.

Anyway, pulling for Harrison who I find very unlucky when it comes to Slams - always facing a top 20 player in the very first round and it never helps his ranking.

He chucked his racquet away in frustration and nearly hit the line judge, and then had a little argument with the umpire after getting a warning. Unless it was something that happened after that.

Harrison has lots of ability but as with most youngsters just not mentally able to keep up that level throughout. Has constantly gone ahead in this match and keeps on getting broken back.

Good match this but ultimately I think Simon will see it through in four with one break of serve in each set. I'm going to predict 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4.

Edit: As I say that Simon gifts Harrison two break points and does the same as Harrison did earlier - chucking his racquet and nearly hitting the line judge before being booed by his own fans. Great support.  Rolling Eyes Simon saves them both.

You are right. Simon's experience will previal in the end but still, if Harrison wins it somehow, he'll be mighty pleased and he needs it badly.  

Never like the French crowd to be honest. Not a big fan of their constant boooing and what not.

Simon did take it but while Harrison is quite solid off the ground, he's also very tentative and these two have played before and Simon is very good at playing his opponents' weakness and that's exactly what happened towards of the 3rd the end.

Harrison really needs to stop to go for too much. He won't be fooling Simon anytime soon for one. Simon now looks too comfortable.

Just catching up on results. Couple of women seeds out. Davydenko, Nalbandian and Hewitt out I see too. Beating Andy didn't do Gulbis any favours either - he's out also.

Sorry to see that Laura Robson didn't make the 2nd round.

Azarenka came through her match in the end. She was in big trouble but didn't panic and found her range. Awful screeching though.
