Very interesting, I agree with Hawkeye being introduced, there are some seriously bad calls going on at the minute.

The its computer system that can tell you whether a ball was in or out - the use it during the BBC commentary at Wimbledon, but now they're bringing it into the actual game to avoid visual errors from the officials...

Ohhhh right! Thankyou. Awww that means we won't see arguements between the players and the umpires then.

The reason Hawk Eye hasn't been used so far is that it is not quite perfect, although it is more accurate than the human eye. So I'm sure it won't eliminate the arguments. The players'll still have a good rant i'd think.
Plus, am I right in saying that since hawk eye takes a short time to generate images it'll only be used on the close points? Umpires'll be able to use it to overule calls. So we may now have players demanding to see the Hawk Eye images. Oh fun and games.

yes i think it will only be used for close points although it will undoubtedly be helpful there. if u look at rugby then the decisions of the video refs are seldom questioned and i dont see why it should be different with hawkeye

I think the original objections to Hawk Eye won't help. Plus, you know these tennis players, anything for an argument. Gets the adrenaline going. Some of them need it for there game. Look at McEnroe etc.

Yea Eye Hawk won't stop flying racquets... neither frustrated players. I think it will just add more to the arguments... players will blame technology.
