I have been enjoying his Instagram accounts:
@tefanostsitsipas98 and @stevethehawk
Also his podcast:
A Greek Abroad
I do think he's been phenomenal this year, and I think he'll be around for a long time to come. I think he'll give Zverev The Younger a run for his money!
I am excited to see what 2019 will hold for Stefanos, given his mighty rise in 2018. He's going to be one of my faves going into the 2020s, I think. His podcast and travel photographs also make him come across as a thinker. He clearly has a sense of urgency, and I'd say intellect.

Love him to pieces too.
So fast, such good court coverage, such an excellent tennis brain. Remind you of anyone?
His forehand is better than Andy's tho. and probably his backhand is less good.

Stefanos is wonderful! I do like Z too you know!
But Stefanos had a great 2018 and I think he'll do just as well, or better, in 2019

Brilliant! Stefanos is now officially my 2nd fave player.
Lovely young man and he's got plenty of shots in his arsenal too - those lobs and drop shots in particular were magnificent - and plenty of time to make improvements where needed. Also for once I agree with Greg Rusedski who said that -
"Stefanos Tsitsipas has the look of Bjorn Borg, the competitive nature of Andy Murray and the calmness of Roger Federer"

That sounds really nice "Stefanos has the look of Borg, the competitive nature of Andy and the calmness of RF".
Good that you now have a 2nd fave player
I think I'll have to make a list of all my fave players, there are lots of them on my list

I've always had other faves - Goffin, Delpo, Tsonga, and now Shap as well.

I remember your other ones, I'd forgotten about Tsonga though!
This is my list if we're allowed to have it here?
1. Andy of course
2. Kyle
3. Z
4. Kyrgios
5. Stefanos
6. Shap

Oh yes, Kyle too for me, and Z. I doubt I'll ever take to Kyrgios though, but you never know. After all I wasn't too struck on Z until recently.

You started to like Z at the WTF. He did so well to win and also to beat RF and Djoko at the same tournament
I don't know why I like Kyrgios, he's a very talented player I think. But he sometimes gets carried away and over-excited on the tennis court and then he forgets he's supposed to be winning a match and then he loses it (the match) and he loses himself too really.
I hope he'll do well in 2019, he could win tournaments, he just needs to concentrate a bit more I think.

There's no doubt he's talented, but it really grates with me when he wastes it by his silly antics. Perhaps I'd come to like him if he focussed more on the game and less on the fooling around, or even worse just gives up on the game completely.

It's frustrating when he behaves in a stupid way and he does give up sometimes. I think he knows he should concentrate but he just can't seem to do that. It's well documented that he doesn't like tennis and prefers - is it basketball? Maybe he's better at tennis but I don't see why he should be pressed into tennis if he'd rather do something completely different.
We only have one life and Kyrgios is very young and he now has lots of money so really the world is at his feet - more or less anyway.

It is basketball. I don't think anyone forced him to play tennis. It was his own decision, only he came to regret it, and now he says it's too late for him to change, although I believe he does play it occasionally when he has the chance.
