Tsitsipas will be pleased to have his very first grass court title. well done. This will give him confidence going to Wimbledon, where last year he lost in R!  He probably will play this year's R1 match on Tuesday, and by then I hope he'll have recovered from playing in Mallorca. Good luck Tsitsipas. I suppose you won't get any points from playing at Wimbledon this year, it's all stupid , how does tennis affect things in Ukraine I wonder. |

^ I agree that it is a good win for Tsitsipas because grass is definitely not his best surface. Hopefully he'll do better at Wimbledon this year!
The whole thing about Wimbledon is just insane. The AELTC shouldn't have listened to our useless government in the first place but done what the other Slams have done, or will do, which is to let the Russian and Belarusian players play under a neutral flag, because if they'd done that then there wouldn't have been any repercussions from the ATP and WTA.

Yes shame we don't have a more sensible and forward thinking government which the other slams have although it was all a bit out of hand re the AO and Djokovic.
I remember people in real life talked more about whether he'd be allowed to play than talking about the actual upcoming tournament.

I remember that too, like Djokovic was the be-all and end-all of everything! At least there won't be any doubt about his participation in the US Open. |

It's all rather sad really because feuds like this do not give the sport a good name and nor are these matches enjoyable to watch. My sympathies here though lie with Tsitsipas because Kyrgios's constant complaints, bad behaviour and clowning around are definitely not what tennis is all about. |
