As you probably know this is being played in New York this year, from 22-28 August, and not Cincinnati, and is being played with no spectators present and a raft of protocols in place to keep players as safe as possible from catching covid.
Normally I would open a thread just for Andy's matches but these are unprecedent times. While some WTA events have been played recently this is the first ATP one since February, so I thought it best just to open a thread for the whole tournament.
As for Andy, apart from taking part in the Battle of the Brits organised by brother Jamie in July, Andy's last ATP event came in October 2019, when he beat Stan Wawrinka to win the Antwerp title, problems with his hip having caused him to miss out on earlier tournaments this year, although he was ready to play in Miami had covid not suddenly closed it down. Having been offered a wild card into the main draw in this tournament, as well as getting into the USO as a first alternate (which means that another player had to withdraw), Andy and Jamie both decided to make the trip to New York, flying out from the UK on the 13th, having reassured themselves that they wouldn't be subject to quarantine on their return to Britain.
This is the men's singles draw for this tournament -
https://www.atptour.com/en/scores/current/new-york/422/draws?matchtype=singles
- for which Novak Djokovic is the No.1 seed and Dominic Thiem the No.2 - both Nadal and Federer having declined to participate.
Unfortunately once again the tennis gods haven't been too kind to Andy, who is currently ranked No.129, as he's scheduled to meet home favourite Frances Tiafoe, who also received a wild card, in R1. This will be the first time the two have played each other. Should Andy manage to get past Tiafoe, he will face fifth seed Alexander Zverev. who recently added David Ferrer to his coaching team, in R2.
As for the other British men, Dan Evans will meet the No.10 seed Andrey Rublev in R1, while Kyle Edmund will play the unseeded Kevin Anderson. Cameron Norrie came through qualifying and his opponent in R1 will be another American, Reilly Opelka.
This tournament will be streamed on Amazon Prime in the UK
, and will be shown on the Tennis Channel and ESPN in the US.
Andy's match is 3rd on Grandstand today, so the estimated time is 3:00 pm EST, 8:00 pm BST

^ Andy is in the list of matches to be on as a late match (last but one) on Saturday but considering how long it took for Cam to play yesterday I suggest the time might be difficult to predict. The time listed is 17:30 so add 5 hours for UK time on Saturday. An early Sunday late night for us all!
Edmund is due on two hours earlier.
Btw Cam won both his qualification matches so should be in main draw but his next opponent is unknown to me.

^ According to the schedules I'm looking at, both on the ATP website and the tournie website, Andy's match is third on Grandstand, which means probably mid-afternoon in NY, so early evening for us, so I've no idea where you got your time from!
PS - I've just noticed that Dan Evans has paired up with David Goffin for the doubles, which is interesting. I'm not sure how they'll fare against doubles' specialists John Peers and Michael Venus though when they play them tomorrow.

From Andy on the BBC Sport website -
"I've really enjoyed the last few days just practising with top players, which I've kind of done a little bit back home but not that much."
"It's very different conditions, very lively, quick, very hot. I've been practising with [Dominic] Thiem, [Andrey] Rublev and [Karen] Khachanov. Those guys don't really hold back.
"It's a bit of a different speed to what I've been used to. I felt a little bit off the pace at times but I'm feeling quite good on the court physically in terms of my hip."
He's also been tested for covid twice (having to go into quarantine for 24 hours each time), so it looks like the organisers aren't taking any chances with this virus.

Good luck Andy, I remember Tiafoe from long ago --- I hope you'll win Andy
But Zverev in R2? That's a bit worrying

Thanks Aileen. Real excited to watch this event, just to hear the smack of the tennis balls. I read that Andy said that safety for the players is top notch at the event and the hotel so that's great news.

Aileen,
ATP websites are rarely up to date and we have to rely on other results sites for possible schedules. I found a couple of references last night. They have been adjusted again overnight on the website but that is lacking good information still:
Heather Watson is first on court 7 so a 16:00 start also on AP.
Evans also is a first match on in the doubles on court 14 and on AP
These two are the only confirmed times as 11:00 US time (NYC time) so 16:00BST.
Times below then in BST. (AP is Amazon Prime)
Both Edmund and Corrie now play second on courts 17 and 11 so estimated as at 17:20 and 17:30 BST. Both are scheduled to be on Amazon Prime.
Salisbury (doubles) is second match on court 12 scheduled as 17:20 on AP
Andy, we know, plays before Venus Williams on the Grandstand court (third match) at an undisclosed time but shown in Flashscores (and on another news site) as 19:30. This is not yet showing as scheduled on Amazon Prime. I expect it to show soon. I hope so!!!! I did get the times muddled for US and UK so we should be able to see him late afternoon or around 17:30 BST if play adheres to expected schedules for each day. Venus Williams plays after Andy and that is recorded as around 22:00 (not confirmed on website) so I am working on an early evening viewing for Andy.
I do find it odd that there are no estimated times for matches after the first on court as the process between matches and for players has to be very methodical to cope with the Virus infection. It surely needs to work like clockwork to avoid overlaps and keep everyone apart as much as possible?
Amazon Prime are extremely irritating as they seem to show no events coverage until a few hours before it happens. Like many IT based organisations they perhaps think we have nothing else in our lives but are permanently attached to the internet and their site in particular?
Minor edits done.

I find this annoying too. You would think they would want to promote the event beforehand. Thanks for the update.

^Waverlybear,
Andy is now added on their list as playing around 19:15 BST.
I am glad that others find AP annoying too. Makes me feel almost human?

I’m enjoying the doubles match between Evans /Goffin and Venus/Peers. Dan and David make a good team.
And they won 6-4 7-6 (3)

Sadly Heather Watson just lost but she looked well out of thoughts on how to win.

Opelka beat Cam 6-3, 6-4. Didn't see the match so can't comment.
